We are pleased to announce the tenth Emerging Markets Conference Board (EMCB). Organized in America for the first time, EMCB conference will gather first world class marketing professors, academics, and researchers from all over the globe interested in sharing and discussing marketing and related management issues in emerging markets.
The conference will take place on March 16 and 17, 2021 at the Business School of UPAEP, Puebla, Mexico. The 2021 EMCB is triggered by the chief aim of “Integrating Academia and Industry in Emerging Markets”.
This year, the EMCB wants to bring to the table the frequent complaining about the gap between Academia and Industry players, sharing their conceptions, attitudes, experiences, opportunities, and challenges to contribute to integrate these two sectors in emerging markets. This time we ought to be more inclusive and multidisciplinary, with the intention to give a wider view of marketing.
Academics, researchers, students, and practitioners are encouraged to submit extended abstracts or full papers in different areas of marketing, covered by 15 tracks:
1. Big data and analytics
3. Psychology, consumer behavior and culture
4. Social entrepreneurship and social marketing
5. Green/sustainable marketing
6. Marketing in SMEs
7. Marketing strategy
8. Relational and services marketing
9. Retailing and Merchandising
10. Digital marketing
11. Personal selling and sales management.
12. Business-to-business marketing and sales management
13. Clusters Strategy and Collaboration: New Agenda for Marketing Leaders in Government, Companies, and Institutions as an answer to address big challenges
14. Micro trends in Marketing and Politics
15. Other topics
Accepted works will be published in Conference Proceedings (with ISBN); authors will have the option of publishing either the full paper or the extended abstract in the proceedings.
Authors will have the opportunity to publish their full papers as chapters in an edited book. While all the papers/abstracts presented at the conference will be published in the Proceedings, only some invited papers will be published in the book.
Additionally, selected papers will have the opportunity to be considered for publication in EMCB 2021 supporting journals.
NEW PROVISION: Gates are open to those participants who would want to submit their papers, but do not wish or have the means to attend the conference personally. The EMCB offers them the facility to present their papers ex-absentia via the Zoom platform. However, authors will be required to register for the conference.
Note: Papers can be sent in Spanish with the condition that, if they are accepted, they had to be translated into English and the authors must also present their works in English in the track’s session.
